Atkins' vision to be the world's best infrastructure consultancy formed the basis for the theme for the 2009 annual report.

The primary considerations revolved around how best to align the annual report and CR messaging, with particular emphasis on sustainability and the continuing 'plan, design, enable' positioning.

The corporate reporting communication consists of an HTML version of the annual report with a small number of printed copies for shareholders who opted out, supported by an online CR section on the main corporate website.
