Summer internships at The College

During the summer months many students search for the
opportunity to get a realistic feel for the working world. The
College has historically helped students by offering one to two
week placements during which we keep them away from the filing
cabinets and, instead, get them involved in real project work.
Recently, we were joined for two weeks by Chris Birt - a first
year student from the London School of Economics and Political
Science.
After his placement, Chris took a moment to reflect on his time
with us:
"My experience over the last fortnight working at The
College was constructive and enjoyable, I felt like I was working
not just as an intern but as part of the team, able to both
contribute and be critical when working on briefs, in meetings and
independently producing new business research. Having now had a
range of work placements in both the UK and the US, I have never
felt as welcomed and valued as I have over the last
fortnight."
